Teach your life saving skills to others and help us build a nation of first aiders
As a trainer or assessor, you’ll use your knowledge and experience to deliver and assess our first aid training courses, ensuring that participants are trained to a high standard, and in line with current regulations, policies and protocols.
If you’re an enthusiastic first aider with good communication skills, we’d love to hear from you.

We’ll give you all the extra training you need to excel, including the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) qualification or St John Ambulance Assessor Award.
‘When I was interviewing for my job, being able to show you give your time to something so positive was really valued by the interviewers. Being a volunteer trainer has definitely taken me out of my comfort zone and helped build my confidence - after presenting in front of hundreds of people, not much can faze you!’ – Richard, St John Ambulance Trainer
